Welcome To The Village of  McConnelsville

Preserving our history. Growing our future.

Our Mission

The McConnelsville Main Street Program is dedicated to preserving our historic charm, supporting local businesses, and fostering a vibrant, welcoming downtown. We work to enhance the economic vitality, cultural heritage, and sense of community that make McConnelsville a place where residents thrive, visitors feel at home, and history comes alive on every corner.

Our Four Pillars

At the heart of the McConnelsville Main Street Program is a simple truth: our mission is built on four key pillars. Each one guides how we preserve our history, grow our businesses, and strengthen the sense of community that makes McConnelsville so special.

McConnelsville 4th of July — America 250 Edition

4th of July Fireworks shooting off over the historic Morgan County Courthouse.

This year, our McConnelsville 4th of July Festival is more than a tradition—it’s our chance to celebrate America 250 in a way our whole community can be proud of. Hosted by Heritage of Ohio, Village of McConnelsville, this full day of hometown fun includes the 5K and Cash MOB, parade, kids games, live music, vendors, and fireworks to end the night. We’re currently seeking sponsors, donations, and volunteers to help make 2026 the biggest celebration yet—and we’re also welcoming craft and food vendors to be part of the festivities.
