Paradise Found on Main Street

Kathy Eddlebute | Main Street Business Owner

Eighteen years ago, I bought a building from Kenton Ray. At the time, it was just that—a building. Little did I know it would become so much more than four walls and a roof.

What was once a realtor’s office covered in paneling has transformed into a bright, welcoming PARADISE right here on Main Street. A place where friendships have been built, laughter has been shared, stories have been told, and people have become family.

The transformation wasn’t easy. We tore out three ceilings, removed three layers of flooring, and took the walls down to the block. From day one, I hand-selected every detail that has helped shape Paradise into what it is today. Looking around, I see so much of myself in every corner, every decision, and every improvement we’ve made along the way.

What started as a renovation project became a life-changing journey. It gave me a home away from home and introduced me to some of the most amazing people I could ever hope to know.

I am beyond grateful for the friends who help keep things running smoothly every day, the loyal customers who continue to support us, and the people who stop in just to say hello. Each one of you has helped make Paradise what it is.

I have never once regretted becoming part of the Main Street McConnelsville family. The friendships, memories, and love I’ve found along this journey have meant more than words can express.

I want to thank my family for all the hours of labor they put in and my wonderful, handy husband who has been my maintenance hero and supported me making my dream come to life. Thank you for being part of the story. Here’s to 18 years of memories and many more still to come.
